I’ve been playing JodyJazz mouthpieces exclusively since 2021, and I don't need to look elsewhere to get what I need in terms of comfort and ease of tone production. My main tenor piece is an HR* CUSTOM DARK and it can really sing! I have always steered towards a dark tone and finding a mouthpiece that was designed to enhance this aspect of my playing has really given me the chance to take my sound to the next level. I also occasionally use a DV NY; this mouthpiece is something special and has changed my entire perception of metal mouthpieces, which I have always tried to stay away from. The interplay between the darkness and the response is something I haven't experienced before, not to mention the resonance - wow!
